日本では、緊急避妊薬は、対面またはオンラインによる診療を受けて、医師に処方してもらうと使うことができます。
薬局での緊急避妊薬の販売は、特別に国が認めた、一部の薬局における調査研究（clinical research）です。この調査研究の説明・同意取得はすべて日本語で行うため、購入する人が日本語での確実な説明・同意などのコミュニケーションが行えない場合は、調査研究に参加できません。（パートナーが日本語を理解できても、本人が理解できない場合は、参加できません。）
日本語での同意などができない人は、医師に緊急避妊薬を処方してもらってください。
お近くの産婦人科または、以下のホームページに掲載されている緊急避妊薬が処方できる医療機関のリストを参考に、行きたいクリニック又は病院を選んで、相談してください。

In Japan, you can get the emergency contraceptive pill prescribed by a doctor after an in-person or online consultation.
The sale of emergency contraceptive pills in pharmacies is part of a special government-approved clinical research. All explanations and communications about this research are in Japanese. If you cannot understand, explain, or give consent in Japanese, you will not be able to participate in the research. (Even if your partner speaks Japanese, you must be able to speak Japanese yourself to participate.)
If you cannot speak Japanese, please visit a doctor to get the emergency contraceptive pill prescribed.
